Footprints of the Trinity

The Challenge of Islam
What happens when believers lose this family vision of God? When people forget that God eternally fathers the Son in the Spirit, heresy spreads like a cancer. For if God is not the eternal Father, then He is not our Father. Thus, the fierce monotheism of Islam - which is spreading rapidly - proclaims that God is not Father, and humans cannot be His children. Islamic unitarianism profoundly influences the family and the social order in Muslim countries, just as Christianity affects the home and society in Christian countries.
